Passed Mod 1

Just letting you guys know I passed my module 1 this afternoon, I know a few folks wanted me to keep them updated.

Thanks to everyone who wished me good luck. I just need a little more luck for mod 2 and then I'm free!

Well done Baz,

Mod2 is all about (without getting lengthy) being relaxed, remembering what you have been taught and enjoying the ride. Although, It wont ever be as enjoyable as your first ride on the Cat.

Well done Baz, Like John said just do what you do on your lessons and enjoy it, I passed my Mod 2 last month, I just spent the weekend riding with the members off here in Bishops Castle and had the best weekend ever.. keep us updated with your Mod 2 test and good luck...

That being said if I fail then I'll probably not want to come on here to shout about it, although if I pass I should be out on the cat so I might not be back here to shout about it then either!!!

Mate don't worry nobody on this site will give you earache about failing your Test. Then get saving to join us all on one of the rideouts... check out "something for the weekend"

I'm not even considering failing anyway, purely on the grounds that I'm too cheap to pay for the same test twice!

I've been considering TOL in August but it all depends on whether I can get time off work and whether SWMBO has other plans for the bank holiday weekend.

Good luck for Mod 2. Don't get up tight about it - relax & enjoy. The examiner isn't out to catch you out, just to make sure you reach the required standard on the day. Hopefully you'll get that 'I've just got my licence' feeling - savour it!

The only advice I'll give you is what someone off here told me last October. If your instructors think you're ready then you're ready so take a deep breath, enjoy it but forget its a test, just treat it like another lesson but with a different instructor. Nothing more.
