you may know i bought my first bike (a lovely red 'cat) about 7 weeks ago. 4 weeks ago I was hit from behind at a roundabout and now i've been told its dead . £5500 worth of damage. Not happy. Now looking for a new bike. Would love another 'cat but will have to see what i can get near where i live. At least the insurance are paying out in full, the engineer said it was as nice a bike as he had ever seen, not that thats any consolation. wall

Very sorry for your loss- but every cloud has a silver lining!

When my cat was written off (with me on it) the driver of the car was un-insured- had to wait nearly 2 years to get some money back from the M.I.B- then it was only 60%!
