Bishops Castle 6 -master list.

Can I ask peeps to take a look at the marker drop off system to familiarise themselves with it please, the link can be found at the top of the BC6 thread.
As we are a large group we will be again using the two marker & two tail end Charlie variation.
I need to reiterate again that each rider is responsible for themselves & is to ride at their own risk & within the law. The organiser cannot be held responsible for each individual.

Bishops Castle Six is scheduled to be held over the weekend of Friday 6th & Sat 7th June 2014 (to coincide with the Isle of Man TT which the Boars kindly record for us to watch on the large screen TV) with the rideout on the Saturday heading onto the Welsh Tarmac that has become customary.
The Boars Head (Pink Palace) will again be our destination for the Friday evening meal & drinks, Saturday night to be confirmed as yet but I will be trying to book the Three Tuns again as Tim & his staff have done a superb job over previous years.

Below is a list of the majority of the accommodation available along with the usual Camping/ Bunkhouse/ Caravan & Eco Cabin at the Foxholes camp site, Also new for next year are Wooden camping pods at the Kings Head pub in the centre of BC although I believe only two of the five pods are still available.

I don't need to know any specific numbers of attendees at this stage but would recommend booking up B&B places sooner rather than later due to demand, many places require no deposit to confirm your place in the town centre.

camping pods are suitable for 4 adults at a cost of £100 for the 2 nights. split 4 ways that's only 12.50 a night. think foxholes eco cabin was similar but with cooking facilities, id like to stay in the eco cabin again.

I think I shall have too book myself in. Although I wont be after accomodation. Lol

I'd got a couple of guys who really wanted to come off the back of my glowing reviews, and I've even bought a Yamaha for this year!!

BC3 (GPz550) and BC4 (GSXR600), were brilliant, but the TT IS my holiday now. I can't expect the Manx Government to move, but i'm begging you.....

PLEASE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - put BC7-2015 back to it's post-TT date?

It was the TT weekend that made us choose that date as last year we enjoyed watching it after the rideout.

I'm very much hoping to TT it in 2014 too. There just ain't enough weekends in the year. :(

And make it clash with the Thundercat.de trip (which is the same - ascension - weekend every year), as has been said above, you can't please everyone. You can however spoil them for choice

Fairest thing to do is put up a date and keep it as first come, first served, obviously the date has to fit round our holidays, kids and time to recce it. Weathers a gamble but less of a gamble than for the likes of Wee Mac being so early in the year.
 
Advantage of BC is that people sort their own accomodation, disadvantage is that both pubs are limited to 25 ish people to seat for food, with its increasing popularity, we certainly take over BC for the weekend lol.
 
Im working on the weather   this being a good girl thing isnt easy lol.

Arse, I also have plans next year to go to the TT.. And I fully intend to stay awake for the senior race this time!

Sounds good to me - have put it in the diary. Not sure about staying over - depends on where I'll be living at the time (probably in a cardboard box somewhere on the M5 - if I'm lucky!)
