Hi everyone,

I've recently fitted some aftermarket fairings to the 'cat and so have a large box of my old fairings sitting in the garage.

I'm just curious to see if anyone would be interested in buying these? They aren't in good condition by any means but might be good for some spares?

They're silver and yellow.

If anyone's interested I'll post up some more info.

Regards

Mike

Hi,

I'd be interested.  I've been hunting for a right hand side yellow/silver fairing for a few months since mines cracked.

Would you be willing to sell them separately?

Cheers

Id be willing to sell them separately if needed. However they aren't in brilliant condition. How badly is yours cracked? Mine are scratched so by no means perfect. And there's a fixing point missing on the bottom.

Have you replaced the front mudguard with your new faring kit?
I did a brilliant job or snapping mine with a disc lock yesterday...

I've got a brand new yellow one if that helps? Could be easily sprayed for a different colour 'bike. I'd do it for the cost of paint etc.

OK, on a side note, if anyone knows a good match to that red, please let me know!
OK, if you're not in a rush then it'll come out much better! Here's my rear hugger I did.

Thanks for that, Steve. Currently trying to source a match. Was it used on any other Yamaha's?

Sorry Mike, mistyped the colour .. it's VRC1 - Vivid Red Cocktail. The Red bike above with the cracked mudguard is VRC1, the single coloured red 'cats like mine are VRC7.
Other Yamaha models have also used VRC1 (might be easier to Google now you have the correct name)

Damn I knew there was something else ...the front mudguard! wall

Anyway back to the fairing... It's part of the flat bit right by the frame that's broken off and there's a crack running down the side. Does that make sense?? Don't even know how it happened, it was fine in the morning when I left for work.

Could you post a pic??

Cheers
