My friend passed his test last week, and we've been talking about bikes, over the last couple of weeks he finally decided the best he could get for his money was a cat. So drove down to Poole (from kent) yesterday, took it for a test drive, and purchased it. new clutch about 4.5k miles ago, full stainless exhaust, a years MOT and 3 months warranty. I Think its a pretty good buy, he paid £1495 for it.

These are the two bikes as we stopped at the services yesterday afternoon.

I got myself a tribal sticky seat cover for the pillion seat so my helmet won't slip.
Still dubious when around other people though!!!
