not finished the cowl yet but have been able to fit it to the bike. all i can say is that it looks awesome and makes the bike so complete now. so happy, and it makes me think what an idiot i would have been if i sold it.

Is your main paint scheme on the bike plain white or pearl white? How are you spraying the hump?

Paul, plain white mate. TBH i dropped lucky, was shopping with the mrs in a B&M store and in the small paint section, they had some auto gloss white rattle cans at a £1 a pop. after a test spray with it i decided to use a dark grey primer and it was a perfect match.

Did you use a plastic primer? It is slightly flexible for plastics so wont crack if flexed.

A tip for when having the hump on is affix a rubber trim to the base edge as you'll find it will rub on the tail and wear through the paint.

yes Paul, i used a plastic primer, and thanks for the advice regards the wear issue, i did notice when it was black the paint was rubbed off around the grab rail base area.

Re: the decal on the tank, how about this wee puppy (all shamelessly nicked from bing images), could change the "Racing Team" lettering to "Thundercat" perhaps.
