Meal arrangements will follow in due course but will most likely be in the same two excellent local pubs within walking distance of all accomodations in BC Town, I will do my best to book with a pub that has its own Micro Brewery attached.

i can ring and confirm we need the whole bunkhouse, we get it cheaper that way... if you all book seperately they will charge us per bed

oh just read tels post... and tel there was me and my mate john booked in so 3 with you..so room for 3 more

and i really should wake up before i try to think lol, yes me and john for both nights tel, and thanks for sorting it

and some info for anyone in the bunkhouse, theres no cooking facilities, just a kettle, so if you want to cook you will still need to bring a stove to use outside... and theres no bedding provided, bring a sleeping bag and pillow .
oh and dont forget a puck as the drive and parking are gravel

my vote is tel gets a decent bed on account of being switched on enough to sort the block booking , and having a dodgy back.
and if its seriously overbooked, me and john will share the decent single bed( in a brother sister fashion...) wouldnt be the first time, weve been mates since i was 14 , so no big deal

Kitty Cat Club, got a 40s mob feel to it. P.S will have to defer decision on my accommodation/not accommodation til Monday, the boss is being awkward!!

I get 20 days holiday per year, 5 of which we have to save for christmas leaving 15 which ain't many so I'm trying to accommodate bike rallies/BC/Assen etc taking half days here and there wherever possible to stretch my Holiday entitlement. As my day in is a Friday and most of the rallies and rideouts are weekend the boss is saying my constant half day requests are disrupting things so is going to consider the request and get back to me hopefully Monday.

What time do you finish on Fri ?
Google maps say it's a 2.5 hour journey from yours to BC. Could you not make it down after knocking off ?

Might be the only option, finish at 5:30pm normally home for 6:15pm (ish) even if I get packed and ready to go the night before with the best will in the world would be 7pm before I leave then 2.1/2 hour ride down looking at getting there 9:30-10pm. On top of a full day at work could be a bit of a stretch.

Not ridden that far before, plus at night as well might not be the best idea.

Doesn't sound like the best prep for me. Then again the other option of getting up early and riding down Saturday morning isn't exactly inspiring but I will get there one way or the other

Pack and fuel the bike the night before, get all your riding kit out and ready and then hit the road as soon as you get in. You will be in BC before it gets dark!

If I can get in, changed and out in one fluid movement could be a plan Saying that how many times have you you got in after a day at work with the intention of getting stuck into a task, the kids, partner, dog are coming at you from all angles then you've sat down and thought "balls to it", the motivation of a couple of cold ones only being a bike ride away could motivate me
